I love quiet mornings, rainstorms and family. I have two married sons and one grandson, who hasn’t just stolen my heart—he’s run off with my soul, my patience, and my Oreo cookies. Add in a crew of great-nieces and nephews who keep me running (more like exhausted), and you’ve got the secret to why I stay young at heart… or at least that’s what I tell myself!!
I love trying new foods—as long as I can identify the meat source. Mystery meat? Hard pass. But fruits and vegetables? I’m all in… unless it’s durian. I try not to get within ten feet of that one. Pretty sure it’s banned from airplanes for a reason, and that reason is the smell. If your fruit needs a hazmat warning, I’m good, thanks.
I love a room that’s clean enough to breathe in and the absence of a large pile of laundry. Do I have it?
Absolutely NOT!
I just love knowing that I can dream, and write about it!
I have a deep appreciation for nature, simplicity, and the quiet presence of God in everyday life.
MOST IMPORTANTLY....
I LOVE my quiet time and journaling with the Lord ... and this my friend... is where you'll find all my secrets.

Somewhere in the Woods is a faith-filled romantic suspense about three lives colliding in the heart of a brutal New England snowstorm - a grieving FBI agent, a faith-shaken woman, and a fugitive seeking redemption. When a violent prison break and a brutal blizzard collide in a small New England town, three lives are brought together by secrets, sorrow, and something far greater than coincidence. Somewhere in the Woods is a gripping Christian romantic suspense novel about justice, forgiveness, and the unexpected ways God weaves lives together—even in the darkest season.
FBI Agent Brad Kessler is sharp, seasoned, and fiercely principled—but beneath the badge is a man quietly unraveling. Haunted by the tragic death of his pregnant wife during a failed sting operation, Brad has spent five years fueled by rage, guilt, and an aching silence between himself and God. What once made him one of the Bureau’s best now leaves him detached, emotionally guarded, and barely holding on. Assigned to a case he views as a throwaway, Brad is pulled into a deeper story—one that challenges everything he thought he knew about justice, forgiveness, and faith. As he faces the man who shattered his life and the woman who may be able to help him rebuild it, Brad is forced to lay down vengeance and rediscover the God who never stopped pursuing him.
Violet Carrington is strong-willed, deeply loyal, and quietly resilient—a woman who’s walked through heartbreak and come out standing, even if a little bruised. After losing her missionary parents to a disappearance she refuses to accept, surviving a failed marriage, and grieving a miscarriage, Violet has poured herself into her quiet life in the New England area of Pinecrest. She runs a charming boutique, finds comfort in the companionship of her rescue dogs, and clings to the hope that God isn’t finished writing her story. Her faith, once fractured, is tested again when a fugitive appears on her doorstep—sparking not just fear, but something deeper: divine trust, unexpected purpose, and the courage to believe in love again.
Ray Eaves is enigmatic and resilient—a fugitive whose guarded exterior conceals a heart striving for redemption. Dismissed by many as merely a minor accessory in a chaotic escape, Ray carries himself with a quiet dignity and unwavering faith. His eyes hint at a lifetime of hardship and loss, yet also reveal a spark of hope that refuses to be extinguished. Though forced to live on the run, he remains determined to reclaim his life and prove that even in the depths of despair, the grace of God can light the way forward. Ray’s journey is a testament to the power of transformation, inviting those around him to look beyond labels and see a man on a path toward healing.
It isn’t just a book—it’s a redemptive, faith-
rooted experience that’s going to move you!

Beverly Kay Cole (Seidel) is a seasoned leader and creative voice with over two decades of experience in nonprofit and global ministry work. As an employee of an international missions organization, she has helped equip Christian leaders around the world and advance the gospel across cultures. Known for her administrative excellence, creative design, and unwavering integrity, Beverly’s professional life has been deeply rooted in purpose and service.
Her love for missions and travel has taken her across the continents of Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe—experiences that have profoundly shaped both her heart and her storytelling.
Writing under her maiden name, Beverly Cole, she authored Journey to the Bolivian Jungle, a novella written primarily for young adult Bible studies. Inspired by her time in Bolivia, the story follows three teenagers on a mission-driven adventure through the jungle of Cochabamba, blending faith, courage, and calling into an accessible, adventure-filled narrative.
Her newest work, Somewhere in the Woods, is a Christian Romantic Suspense novel shaped by personal experiences of grief, loss, and healing. Written from a place of deep faith and lived pain, the story blends high-stakes intrigue with redemptive hope, offering emotionally honest characters who reflect the real struggles and quiet victories of life. It’s a story of restoration—where even in the darkest moments, God’s redemptive hand is still at work.
As a writer, Beverly is deeply committed to giving readers more than a few hours of escape. Having spent countless days reading novels that felt hollow or forgettable, she made it her personal mission to create stories that matter—ones with heart, truth, and a lasting takeaway. Her goal is to ensure readers walk away with something valuable: a renewed sense of hope, a clearer view of grace, and the quiet confidence that their time was not wasted but well spent.
Though she lives a quiet life away from the spotlight, Beverly writes bold stories of grace, justice, and second chances—inviting readers to reflect, believe, and step into the journeys God has prepared for them.
Now entering a new season of creativity, Beverly is preparing for a future focused on writing full-time after retirement. With decades of leadership experience and spiritual insight, she brings depth and purpose to every story. Her goal is not just to entertain, but to stir the heart, ignite the imagination, and remind readers that faith can overcome fear, and no one is ever too far gone for a second chance.
Her stories are rooted in truth, carried by faith, and crafted to reflect Christ in a way that feels authentic and approachable—never preachy, always redemptive. This next chapter of her life is more than a creative outlet—it’s a continuation of the wisdom and calling that have shaped her journey.
I write from the truth of lived experience and faith, trusting the God who gave me these words will also carry them where they’re meant to go. Every sentence is shaped by grace, and every story I tell finds its ending in Him.
Below is my personalized (and legal sound piece) of writing inspired by the spirit and cadence of Rich Mullins' chorus from If I Stand. It echoes my heart as a writer and my longing to write for Christ. No lyrics have been quoted directly, making it my original words.
If I write, let me write on the truth
that has carried me through storms I never saw coming.
And if I can't, then may the silence be held
by the grace that first stirred words in me.
If I speak, let it be with joy,
the kind that flows from a well deeper than pain,
where stories of mercy were born and waited to be told.
And if I weep, let it be because the words
are drawing me home,
to the One who gave them,
and to the place where every story finds its ending in Him.
I do not write for fame or applause, but for the quiet hope that somewhere, someone might see Him in the ink.
Something is wrong deep in the Bolivian jungle at the Buenas Nuevas (Good News) Mission complex.
Built years ago by Mr. G’s parents—who tragically died in a mysterious plane crash during takeoff from the jungle—the mission now lies shrouded in secrecy and danger. That same crash left Mr. G. paralyzed, and now it’s up to Marla, Juan, and Ben—affectionately known as The Noble Trio, his adopted children—to return to the jungle and uncover the source of the growing unrest.
But the moment they arrive, everything begins to unravel. Cut off from the outside world, the Trio loses contact with their pilot and is soon abandoned by the tribesman who was assigned to guide them to the mission. Stranded and disoriented, they are forced to take shelter in a dark mountain cavern—unaware that their deceitful chaperone is secretly stalking them, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
As the Trio presses on in search of answers, they soon realize that their physical strength and survival skills are not enough. Only their unwavering faith in each other—and most importantly, in God—will carry them through the deadly threats lurking in the shadows.
An evil and power-hungry tribesman has seized the Buenas Nuevas complex after discovering valuable minerals on the property. Under his control, the once-thriving mission has been transformed into a kingdom of fear, where village children are being kidnapped and enslaved.
Determined to set the children free, the Noble Trio’s adventure becomes a heart-pounding, soul-searching mission. They must confront venomous reptiles, hostile tribesmen, and the darkness of spiritual warfare—all while staying one step ahead of a ruthless Village Master intent on silencing them before they expose the truth.
The Noble Trio: Journey to the Bolivian Jungle is my first novella in a faith-filled adventure that follows three courageous teens as they travel to third-world mission fields in service to God. Along the way, they learn powerful lessons about courage, calling, and the importance of placing total trust in God—lessons that will challenge and inspire readers of all ages in their own walk of faith.
Inspired by real missionary experiences in the Bolivian jungle, this fictional story weaves authentic mission-field detail with page-turning suspense and spiritual depth. Many of the photos included are actual images from missions in Bolivia.
